Monkey enclosures at South Lakes WAP 26/11/11

The furthest right area is home to Siamangs. The middle enclosure is home to black howlers, the furthest is home to white-handed gibbons.

Very bare, open enclosures 'cheap n'cheerful design' but at least they have provided plenty of climbing/swinging equipment. Sort of the exact opposite to Marwell's Siamangs who have an expensive fancy-looking enclosure but very little in it for them to swing on.
 
Considering all the negative talk re this zoo, these enclosures appear way above average for the primates.
 
How do they keep the gibbons and monkeys from getting out or from getting into each other's enclosures? Is there a net or mesh over each of these exhibits that is not visible in the photo:confused:
