Free roaming Cotton-top Tamarin at South Lakes, 11/10/14

Saguinus Oedipus

This tamarin was apart of a small group which was hanging around the Siamang/Tiger walkway.

I hope you reported its escape to a ranger/keeper or Mr Gill will blame you on Facebook for not reporting it.

:p - South Lakes have two separate family's free roaming throughout the Park, the other group tends to stay around the gift shop area.

Are the free-roaming tamarins ever targeted by the local birds of prey?

How all those free-roaming primates survive in winter?!
Do they have heat spots?
And are they restricted to certain areas with actual boundaries that they cannot cross and get lost in the park?
