This is an Indochinese Golden Cat (Pardofelis temminckii temminckii)
 
Not entirely sure this is the case, a guide said to me they were looking at some of the cats from thrigby, and they hope to bring a couple of them in. I believe he mentioned the golden cat but not a 100% certain.

Ok, it would be nice to think that the Thrigby Golden cat and the CST Golden cat were both the same sub-species ? Though we don`t even know the sexes of either do we ??
 
If this is, perhaps that is why they want the Thrigby animal too ?

I doubt it as the Thrigby animal is a Chinese Golden Cat (Pardofelis temminckii dominicanorum) - although the owner of CST does not believe any of the subspecific splits in animals held within Europe are valid......
