kc7gr 16 Apr 2010 Best guess - Immature gyr That has got to be a very young bird indeed (note the blue on beak and feet). If the little guy (or gal) is more than a few months, I'd be amazed. Based on the coloring and head shape -- I would say most likely a Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus).
