The tigers could move between different enclosures, so they weren't confined purely to the one in the photo. There were climbing frames and balls for them to use, but otherwise I suppose it was quite a barren enclosure. The walkways are a great idea, and something I have not really encountered for big cat enclosures.
The fence was made up of two rows of wire, with a gap of about 6 inches between, so fingers / claws could not be poked through the wire. There was no glass on the fence at all.
No, it was sturdier than it looks in this photo! I wonder where they got the idea from though, as I have never been so close to a tiger before unless there has been glass between us.
I certainly saw no-one like that. It was a very family orientated place; mostly couples with their young kids. I would imagine they haven't had any problems, otherwise I'm sure they would change the enclosure.
