a [i]very[/i] variable species. I did find one of these when out spotlighting in the Riviere Bleue national park - its photo is in the New Caledonia Wildlife Gallery, and its very different in appearance to this specimen.
[i]Rhacodactylus[/i] are wonderful geckos!
