Signage for lesser mouse lemur ([I]Microcebus murinus[/I]) and giant jumping rats ([I]Hypogeomys antimena[/I]), found within the nocturnal zone of Tropical World.
Can it sadly be assumed that the collection no longer keeps their jerboa, judging by the arrival of these species? A shame if so, considering as recently as June they had seemingly received new individuals
I didn't notice any jerboa during my visit, so you might be correct in your assumption, unfortunately.
Could they have been mixed in with the hedgehog tenrecs, do you think? I'm not sure a mix of those two species is possible, but the enclosure is more than big enough for it.
