Thanks for posting that, according to the signs it was a Little Egret, and I've just made a mistake when uploading, so I will edit to Little Egret, but what do others think on the species?
EDIT: Me and Chli seem to have posted at the same time, and yes an odd choice.
My mistake. Little egret was my first thought, but it didn't look quite right - rather too thin and crest rather too long - but that might just be the pose. I don't know why I thought great white, as I know other egrets are available, so I should have checked
