pretty much so...the same short grass, the same trees -though with a few more nets and plastic hoses strung between them. As Taun says, the biggest change is an ugly very solid wooden climbing frame which the Orangs largely ignore and they still sit mostly on the ground.
To be fair, it is far bettwer now, bigger trees, lots of ropes and neting, barrells etc. Despite the poor enclosures for the great apes, they are some of the best cared for animals in Uk zoos. I dont think you can say the newest gorilla enclosure is poor tho, granted it has a waterfall, cave, and lots of climbing equip and room to run around. unfortunatly thelatter cannot be said for the other gorila house.
But I don't the gorillas would appreciate the waterfall at all . The main problem is the fact that it doesn't have any overhead cover which gorillas seem to appreciate. It is a decent size though.
