I just saw two 40 year old elephant females at Copenhagen Zoo today, standing at the gate to the elephant house, pushing their heads towards the metal door, wanting to get inside from the freezing cold.
I just saw two 40 year old elephant females at Copenhagen Zoo today, standing at the gate to the elephant house, pushing their heads towards the metal door, wanting to get inside from the freezing cold.
That probably wasn`t the best turn of phrase I could have used,but all the Elephants are used to having to go out side while the house is been jet washed,also it wasn`t that cold as it was above freezing when i took the picture by a couple of degrees.
Hey, I went to Twycross today. Yeah they are let back in quite quickly, as soon as the indoors are cleaned out. Calf is doing great. looks very healthy. bright eyed and growing!
