really dont see why that branch was there, it was right by the glass!
their in possibly the worst viewable exhibit in the zoo so when people walked past, they were just wondering why we were staring into an empty exhibit for 20 mins
should be a nice edition seeing as they were the only really active animals of the day
They may well have moved by the time of your visit as I believe this is only a temporary enclosure for them,until the species that is currently living in their permanent home have been moved on to another collection!

While I am delighted that this species has entered the UK, and I applaud Twycross for brining them in, this does seem to be another example of the zoo investing in a new animal while leaving the old - specifically the primates - in largely substandard accommodation. If they're going to do the martens justice they will need to construct a new exhibit, or heftily renovate an old one. Would it not have been better to dedicate those resources to a new guenon enclosure, for example?
