Oh yes I remember thanks. I also remember there being plans for an Asian Carnivores exhbit for the lions down near the elephants but like many things at twycross it never materialised.

I think officially it's still happening at some point but as you say, it's Twycross so don't hold your breath!
The exhibit was originally going to be for lions, dholes and hyaenas; then artists impressions seemed to show only lions and dholes; then after the lions went the hyaenas actually turned up at the zoo. So it would appear it will be for all three again (assuming the dholes/hyaenas don't die out before they get around to it...).

The last I heard about it was that it would now hold Asaiatic Lion,Arabian Striped Hyaena,Dhole and Sun Bears,and that it would still only use the same area as before which is the area that backs in to the wonderfull new footpath behind the Elephant enclosure!!
