Wow, that list is MASSIVE. Thankyou so much, really made me re-think my plan. It would still be impractacle for visiting liepzig, due to that we have to allow time for other, non related zoo activities. (Not my choice tho ). But thankyou, looks like berlin it is, gunnah miss out on the amazing dolphin tho, would have to plan another trip to see that, definatly. Thankyou so much for this infomation.
No worries. Just realised I put 2 subspecies of takin - they of course have 3 (Mishmi, Szechuan, Golden) - I'll edit that to fix.
(if you need non-zoo activities as well, there'll be a lot more choice in Berlin than the Ruhr, which (apart from the zoos, and a few notable attractions like Cologne cathedral) is more of an industrial region and not very tourist-orientated)
