The protected contact certainly makes for much poorer view of the Elephants indoors. Presumably it was done when it was as a direct consequence of last year's 'cruelty' allegations and sackings .
Anyone know if that case is still pending, or has been dropped, or what?
At the risk of upsetting Twycross fans, if they can't/won't build a bull house, I really feel that those animals ought to go elsewhere and the house turned over to rhinos.
Last I heard the Police and CPS could find no grounds to proceed, and the 3 keepers involved were going to take the zoo to an industrial tribunal, for un-fair dismissal,so I think its very much still a explosion waiting to happen, unless the new person in-charge can head it off by settling with the keepers before the tribunal!
