I did wonder why they have built such a massive structure just for a Lorikeet feeding experience, when a much smaller walkthrough Aviary might have been adequate. If like (was it?) Edinburgh after a few years they later decide that its not working anymore as the Lorikeets become gorged on nectar and don't perform anymore,, what happens then- turn it into something else I suppose...

The former lorikeet exhibit at Edinburgh is now the Brilliant Birds exhibit. 3 rainbow lorikeets arrived at the collection in January and are off-show.
