I thought it was a mouse at first until I looked closer. When I realised what it was I couldn't believe it - almost 9:00am and in the sun! It actually let me get reasonably close (about 3-4 metres) but was very unsure of me and kept stopping and staring at me to see if I made any threatening movements. Which made it easy to photograph. I've cropped the photos somewhat, but only to get rid of unwanted branches etc. Very, very happy with myself on this one!
Great set of shots, this - as you might imagine I have a sneaking fondness for dasyurids and so any decent photographs of a species I haven't seen many images of never goes amiss!
