for Fallow Deer (can just be seen in the back) but the map indicated that Przwalski Horses use this paddock (they were in a different one today though)

I assume the Horses are in the paddock between the Ostriches and the Wallabies/Goats. The former Kulan paddock. It's rather ridicolous the zoo hasnt brough something in to replace them yet.

the paddock on the other side of the ostriches was empty as well (and the rhea paddock by the arctic foxes, but rheas were in the paddock close to the sealions)
It is odd that the paddocks have never been refilled. Wouldn't be difficult - the paddocks are exposed but not overly so - any temperate species would be fine there, I'd have thought.
The other paddock next to the Ostriches housed a Llama several years back and the Rhea pen next to the foxes has also been empty for several years.
This was mentioned a few years back on Zoo History UK
"The Welsh Goats are now likely to be moved and this field area redeveloped to an Asian plain theme"
This was 4 years back and has obviously never happened. It would be interesting to know though if there is any sort of plan for this to still go ahead.
