Tamarin or Marmoset enclosure

I forgot to make a note of the species which lived in here

Interesting design. They benefit from the cage whilst visitors benefit the moat

Cotton Topped Tamarins live on this side whilst Geoffreys Marmosets are on the other side.

Can you give a detailed review of thios exhibit?
animal numbers?

Do you think the animals are trully restrained in this exhibit? Or is it that they have assumed the space is there territory?

It's part of a small monkey complex. To the left of the picture is a building which has the indoor accomodation and even further left than that is the geoffrey's marmoset enclosure (which is a more traditional cage).

so looking from left to right the complex goes:
marmoset cage - marmoset indoor - tamarin indoor - tamarin cage(shown in the picture)

The moat is about 3 foot wide and I would be fairly sure that the tamarins couldn't get over the moat.

its the other way around the marmosets are on this side and the tamarins are on the other less lavish side. unless they rotate them around, but in the three years ive worked there i havent seen that happen.

Its much better for the species it houses now than what it used to be as it used to be the old Chimp enclosure!!!

You are right, this used to house the 3 first chimps that arrived back in the 80s.
