This is in the Asian drive thru area, it's a very large chunk of the Asian area. A large moat has been dug all around the outside of the area, meaning that whatever will go in there wont have access to the rest of the drive thru.also it looks like there will be a large pool area, anyone want to guess what will be in there, and no smart comments like white elephants, I'd guess water buffalo.
longleat have dromedray in the african reserve and bactrian in the big game park

Please remind me whats in the "big game reserve"? O'right I remeber AFRICAN ANIMALS! (Otherthan the camels)

I was not stating the names of the reserve read it again please I was just saying that they are kept in AN african reserve meaning with african animals.

There are also pere davids deer - or at least there was until recently - which certainly aren't african either.

Still the fact remains that it is mostly african animals.

When did these move out?

Still, the confusion is understandable as it is not strictly for african mammals.

To my knowledge they haven't moved out, I just haven't been for a while so was not sure that they were still in there.

Went to the Park on the 7th Feb for the last day before the park shuts down for a short time.
I've still no idea what is going in this new area.
Also very little work seems to have been done on it since I first took the pix, probably due to the bad weather, but they will hvae to move quickly if they want it finished in time for the new season.
Has anyone guessed Asian elephant yet??

I have attached a copy of the front cover of the latest WMSP guide map to a couple of the threads in the WMSP forum regarding this area of the Asian reserve, as it confirms that there will be Indian rhinos at the park this year.
