Having missed these when at the RSCC, these are what spawned the trip to Kent. They are the only ones in Europe (probably the only ones outside Austrasia).

Do you know what happened to the original group at RSCC or are they all now at Wingham ?

I visited Wingham a few years ago , on my way to RSCC from Howletts . It looks as if the new owners are spending a lot of money . Have they done anything to improve the Parrot House , which housed a very large collection , and I thought was awful ?

It is my understanding that the animals at Wingham are all that are left -we counted 4.

The Parrot House hasn't changed since my November visit - it's still not at all pretty (though part of me has a guilty pleasure in it at least being a traditional taxonomic house with Amazon after Amazon in a line!).
