Such a beautiful animal and a real honour to have been so close. This shot was taken through the windscreen as the bear strolled between the cars.

Why was he so close to the cars? Looking for food? Just passing by?

Just passing by ... he had just got up from having a nap and walked between the cars towards the more open area of the reserve. I didn't see where he went because there were two lanes of cars behind me, but the second time we drove round I could see a bear up a tree :)
