Well you can cuddle one if you want but leave me out of it. In the wild in the US Black Bears are just as unpredictable and potentially lethal as the larger Browns/Grizzlies. a number of people have been killed by them. One of the worst cases involving Black Bear killing was many years ago when one killed four(I think it was) boys who were out on a fishing trip- their remains were found buried along the river bank- the bear had raked earth and brush over each corpse as it would do if it was a deer carcass. Still want to cuddle one....?
