Why is it always like this. Either you see a pic what shows 1/30 of the exhibit everybody shouts how cruel it is or it is this situation. You see a small part of it and make it to a perfect enclosure... I think often Zoochat could need some more objective views
Very true. Here we can see that there is some water, some land and at least one clump of foliage. That's all. Not much to make a judgement on either way!
how does it look with a breeding activity of this flamingo flock so far? Any nests built / eggs laid? The 8-years old birds should already be capable to succesfully breed I think.
They have built nests and laid but no successful hatchings yet, I think they have laid the last two years... Sorry can't be more helpful than that but start a thread in the New Zealand forum as a couple of Auckland keepers prowl that board...
