With a window damaged by a stone (the signs give a curious level of detail as to exactly how it is damaged in order to make the point it is safe! A replacement pane is on order).

What is that bird in the sky? from the wing and tail shape and its general silhouette, it looks remarkably like a Honey Buzzard! :) I can see another bird in flight on the extreme left too. They aren't on the glass are they?

It will definitely be no honey buzzard, they are certainly not back from Africa yet.....

I overlooked the date;) as otherwise I would say it does look like one. I wonder what it is, or even if a real bird? Maguari?

I assume the glass is lamanated and that is what is keeping it secure, I wonder if it ws an intentionaly thrown stone, or from a strimmer/ mower? it would take some force to shatter it.

They're anti-bird-collision stickers, I'm afraid! You can see the left-hand one in this shot from last year: http://www.zoochat.com/1070/leopard-heights-yorkshire-wp-05-08-a-282780/

It's security glass with multiple layers - only one of the layers is cracked so the barrier is still safe. The sign just said 'a stone' - no further info that I recall.

That's what I thought initially;) but it looked very small for a bird sticker and I began to think it was a raptor high in the sky- defo Honey Buzzard silhouette I reckon;) ('pinched' wings and long tail/neck)
