23 June 2016 @ Yorkshire Wildlife Park. With the waterfowl pond in front (home to various domestics and possibly still hybrid flamingos (none were visible though so I'm not certain they are still there)); a bit of the Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) and Yellow Mongoose (Cynictis penicillata) enclosure; the former goat walkthrough which is now a picnic site; and behind that that the 'Tsavo Bakehouse' and finally the 'Monkey Playhouse'.

I haven't seen the flamingos now for the last few visits so I fear that they are no longer there. I miss the goat walk through, it increased the number of walk through experiences that they offered and gave families a good place to stop for a while.

I saw them last November in their holding pen attached to their house, but it sounds like they've now gone. The goat (and sheep (and once there was an Ankole calf in there!) walkthrough was always a nice feature, I now feel it is almost wasted as a picnic site.

Shame flamingos aren't included in the new Africa expansion. If they are gone, it could be a nice way of getting them back again.
