This pool was built for Sealions in 1901. At the beginning it was a sealion & penguin mixed exhibit which was working not for a long time. Currently it helds a pair of Pygmy Hippos at summertime.

If only the hippos had some purpose-built accommodation on this site, rather than relying on using the Casson, then it would be a very high quality exhibit.
