Signage at Te Wao Nui, Auckland Zoo.
This is one example of the generally excellent signage at Te Wao Nui (although the individual species labels are pretty average, all other signage (of which there is heaps) is excellent). This sign, and two others, list some of the amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals which have become extinct in NZ. Pretty sobering.
