It was extremely lively. Walked along every inch of the enclosure.

Is the tamandua in its enclosure of a public walking space?

The Tamandua is on a public walk space, however this walkway is within the enclousure. The Tamandua is housed in the Rainforest walkthrough exhibit. Therefore, has access to pretty much the whole area within the exhibit, including the walkways.

I would be so happy if a tamandua just walked right in front of me. It sounds like a nice immersion exhibit.

To be fair, it spends most of its time asleep in a nest box.
