I like Giant Tortoises, and I'm pleased that they're back at London. But does anyone else think that's a rather big space to be sitting empty for 3-4 months (at a guess)?
It is important that tortoise habitats have both indoor and outdoor rooms / exhibits. Something often overlooked at many a zoo ... where reptiles et al are deemed the "lesser" draw.
I think it is ok to be empty and the house with viewing windows (I wish it had full inside viewing) is right next to it so it doesn't look like a random empty exhibit - which, sadly, the Lubetkin penguin pool does.
