I'll agree with bongorob. The modern thing in zoos these days is to let the public feel like the place is interactive and they can watch everything the keepers do, whether it be feeding the animals, cleaning the cages, or, in this case, going to the toilet.
If there was a toilet seat I would say Red Back Spiders. Other than that Green Tree Frogs like toilets, showers and basins. Brown Snakes don't mind hiding around dunneys either.

it looks way too big for a redback display, and probably likewise for tree frogs. I'd say a snake is most likely, although perhaps a small python (e.g. Children's python) rather than brown snake. It would be cool if they filled it with hundreds of huntsmen though!!
