Auckland Zoo Map September 2001.
The newest development shown here was the new "Bluebird Sea Lion and Penguin Shores". This replaced the old Wallaby Walkthrough and small mammal exhibits. A new Wallaby Walkthrough was built in the old Llama enclosure, while the Mara moved to the Parma Wallaby enclosure (who joined the Bennetts Wallaby and Red Kangaroo in the Walkthrough). The Wombats were lost from the collection around this time, and I'm not 100% sure what happened to the "tortoises", but I suspect these were the Red- and Yellow-footed Tortoises that ended up at Ti Point. The old Sea Lion enclosure was used to hold native duck species.
