I didn't know that London had had more than 2 polar bear cubs!
Do you have any more info on this cub, please?

I read somewhere that London had only had 2 polar bear cubs(zsl website i think) but was sure i remembered more from my childhood after Pipaluk. I have since found out that there was a 3rd, Triplet in about 1970/71 and this one in 73 at least. I asked on another photo thread of Padiwak if anyone knew of the full history of polar bear births after Pipaluk in 1967. I don't remembe seeing a reply though.

‘Pipaluk’ had two younger siblings:-

• ‘Triplet’ on born 29th November 1970
• ‘Paddiwack’ born 30th November 1972.

(‘Paddiwack’ was sent to Alexandria Zoo in April 1975.)

Further to my earlier post, for the sake of completeness, it is perhaps worth adding that 'Triplet' was sent to Zurich Zoo in October 1971.
