Health and Safety at the Clore

The perils of an immersion exhibit, London ZSL, 15th April 2013
You British do crack me up :p

I just wish it to be known that I think this is brilliant. That is all.

I wish I could say that this was a joke, but someone had spilt water behind the squirrel's cage, so the sign had to be in place. I think half the country spends a lot of time laughing at the other half :D

Too right! I took a glance, did a double-take and then I knew I had to share it here.

the way I look at it, it is a rainforest exhibit with a "caution wet floor" sign. The implication being that Health & Safety rules are blindingly obvious.

That's what I got from it at least.

Yes, just the juxtaposition of the two signs:

STEP INTO THE RAINFOREST! CAUTION: WET FLOOR

From the same people who brought you packets of nuts that say "warning: contains nuts".

It gives the suggestion the next sign might be "warning: rainforest may contain trees".

Just in case anyone thought we were making this up - a supermarket has been forced to withdraw packs of peanuts from sale for failing to warn potential purchasers that they contain - peanuts...

BBC News - Store pulls monkey nuts from shelves over 'peanut warning'

A supermarket chain has withdrawn bags of nuts - after failing to declare they may contain peanuts.

The Food Standards Agency issued an allergy alert saying the presence of peanuts was not declared on Booths' own brand packets of monkey nuts.

...
The term 'monkey nuts' describes peanuts with the shell or pod intact.
