It is one half of what was the anteater enclosure by the web of life/bugs building. This viewing area is at the end of it by the parrots aviaries.
 
great thanks for that! do they not have anteaters anymore? when I was there in the spring I'm sure I saw one in its indoor house.
 
Yes they are still there they have the other half of the enclosure at the end with their indoor accommodation.
 
I think the rheas shared the whole area.

This side of the zoo is quite full: penguins, then parrots, a not too big gap where there is some sort of nature garden I generally ignore, the vicuña and anteater enclosure and then squirrel monkeys.
