I went to his collection twice, what a treat it was too. Sad its all gone now.

We will never see its like again in the UK, either - in terms of private or public collections.

Amazonworld still, I believe, has a few Spangled Cotinga (Cotinga cayana)

Lackham College has a single elderly Purple-throated Fruitcrow (Querula purpurata)

Unfortunately, Amazon World no longer has Spangled Cotingas (Cotinga cayana). In August last year, I saw a single male (a few years ago was a pair), in June this year he was gone.

Shame, that - even in June 2013 there was still a pair.

Took care for several pale-throated bell birds ( always males ) - btw I know these birds under the name Bare-throated bell bird - in a Dutch privat collection and at Birdpark Walsrode and I must say, their voice is impresive !
