Have just checked Zootierliste, which says London still keeps this species, but I've not seen them there at all! Are they kept off-show, or have I somehow managed to miss them every visit?
There are Pied Tamarins off-show - other species I'm not sure of. The majority would be invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians and fish - there is probably a substantial amount of these, either duplicates of on-show species or species not on public view at all. The best way to find out would be to have a look at the inventory and compare it to the species you know are on-show.
I recognise it now you mention it. I saw the group in an enclosure in the Clore classroom (whilst on a course at the zoo), which is visible to the public from the Yellow Mongoose viewing window. They were certainly still there until early Autumn, if not more recently. It was boarded up on Thursday, though I'm not sure what it holds now. I suspected it was Aye-Aye. Has a replacement female come in in place of the individual that was moved to Chester?
