Nice photo :). I tried to get a good photograph of these guys when I was at London Zoo but didn't manage.
 
Where are these kept? I didn't see them in 2011, are they a relatively recent arrival?

They arrived in 2013; they are in housed in the Clore Pavilion, in the first exhibit you encounter after entering the building.

Thanks Tim - replacing the Leaf-cutter Ants? Where did these come from? I have only seen them at Cotswold Wildlife Park.

They arrived earlier than that. I took a photo of one in this enclosure in April 2013 (so it's quite a long way back in this Gallery).
There are quite a few of them around. I have seen them at Newquay and Shaldon too.

My experience of this species at the two above mentioned collections is they are a pain in the backside to photograph with a standard camera. The hyperactivity of them meant all of my photo's came out very blurry indeed! ;)
