I hope that this is purely for historical reasons and that ZSL isn't just pandering to geopolitical interest groups.
(Although given my current circumstances I am all in favour of strong Anglo-
Chinese relations)

:D:D I love your ironic comments. And to top it: I'm so happy that this space has been used for such a wonderful statue and not for an (extension of an) exhibit and that the money they spent for that statue not has been used for an improvement....
 
Probably on loan for 10 years from China . Wonder what the annual fee is ? As likely to breed as the ones at Edinburgh ?

They should have got a WWF collection-box Panda:) They were more lifelike than this one. What a strange thing to display.:confused:
