I think its supposed to represent the sort of pastel shades typical of Indian buildings. Would I be right in thinking Land of the Lions is largely built around the existing Cat enclosures and buildings and these were not demolished but are still standing, though they have been masked by new rockfaces/stage props etc?
And is the Langur enclosure new or just one of the existing mesh enclosures?
If I've got my bearing right, yes, this was the serval indoor enclosure, with the outdoor enclosure further to the back (to the left in this picture).
The Langur enclosure is completely new as far as I can tell.
The back of the old lion terrace is still there, just covered by new rockwork. It's hard to tell about the old tiger terrace as this area is still surrounded by hoardings (at least on my last visit). The plans seemed to indicate that the lion enclosure would be extended forwards over the old moat and to the side (over the walkways that went between the enclosures and into the old serval enclosure)

Thanks for the outline. I wonder if that means the wide water moat has been filled in now? it was a huge waste of space IMO so I hope it doesn't feature in the redesign of the area.
This might help a bit with orientation. I am fairly sure it is the serval enclosure with some alterations that look unecessary eg. changing the direction of the viewing window and then leaving that tree in the way. I hope I am wrong but from what I saw in October and more recent photos, I'm not convinced they have got this right.
