A mustelophile never changes his (or her) spots, or in this case, stripes
I don't use direct flash for zoo photos any more, but it had its uses when we only had film - incidentally this photo was taken on the ground floor of the Clore, I don't think I ever used flash in the Moonlight World. I should add that I never felt that the Clore was really ideal for ferret badgers, although they had one of the bigger enclosures.
I was going to post this photo in a batch of scans, but when I saw the coincidence of the dates, I had to post it today.
When was London Zoo at its biodiversiest (i.e., have the greatest number of different species)? Would that have been in the 1960s? 1970s? Earlier? Later?
