Xerxes, these are just the yards by the house. Behind where I was taking the picture, they have a very large grassed paddock, I think I have a picture in the gallery already...
Whipsnade has a great record with it's Indian Rhinos with 2 births in the last year and a half, i think.
Currently their is a new Indian Rhino House being built which will be a great improvement on their current accomodation, including heated indoor pools and seperated stalls.
Interestingly, ten years on and with the new house long built, they still use these sheds as much as they ever did. I was told one reason is to give whichever one(s) use the 'new' house, more room...
