Its a very large paddock and generally only three adult elephants(plus a calf or two) are using it as they have the 'split' group. (The other females use a field which is offshow to the public.)
This mother is Karishma, the one that came from Twycross.
I wouldn't describe it as 'lush' as the grass is very short. I don't know if they mow it(?) to keep it short which may prevent the Elephants being able to pull up sods of turf and ruining its appearance. Just a guess.
