View of the closed Bird Garden

I think its shame they closed this- it wasn't that longlived either. It provided a nice contrast with Whipsnade's big mammal exhibits, it was attractive and quite nicely laid out I thought. What was behind this decision- cost of maintenance?

Agreed - a sad waste of an opportunity.
