Per Lucy Pendar's book the last two dolphins were Samson and Lady. Lady had come from Windsor as the deaths of Nina and Esther had left Samson alone (this must be Samson in the photographs as there was just the one dolphin when I visited in May 1985 - in May 1984 I had seen Samson, Nina and Esther plus Nina's ill-fated calf [Nina died soon after it did]). In the wake of the Klinowska Report Samson was sent to Spain and Lady to Morecambe where she had died by the time of the publication of Lucy Pendar's book in 1991 - it reads as though she did not survive too long on the Lancashire coast.
