This photo, and the next, actually make the Discovery Centre look worth a visit! It's one of a number of areas at Whipsnade that's in dire need of some significant investment.
It used to be a very nice area,and still gets very busy! However, age of building and lack of investment are slowly killing it. Maybe it's time the zoo reassess it's function or close it completely.
Once again, this raises the issue of the zoo's potential. There's plenty of space on site to do a biome-type exhibit that doesn't get so over-crowded and claustrophobic!
