Seeing the Bongo like this, its a pity they can't be exhibited in a totally wooded area, or alternatively given a bit more of the adjacent area behind here(or is that the wolf enclosure!?). They would perhaps be more visible to the public if this area they use most was more easily approachable around the perimeter too. I don't think they are particularly shy of people, rather they just prefer to use a covered area if its available. Forest antelope= preference for forest cover seems to make sense.

Woburn's live in a totally wooded area. Perhaps the importance of trying to match their natural environment more tends to get overlooked for some of these species.
