I drove past the zoo the other day and I could have sworn I saw a baby American Bison in the yard. I could very well have been seeing things (which I am guessing is the more likely) just thought I would check here to see if its true or that I am going a bit mad!
I didn't spot any additions whilst I was shooting this photo; however, the other individual was laying down in the vegetation, far away, almost out of sight. So, maybe?
With very little expenditure (if any!) you could have a Prairies exhibit with the SSI advertised next door. Not many UK zoos have the luxury of showing off big charismatic hoof stock in such surroundings!
