I'm wondering if the smaller subgroup(two females only?) get the same regular outings- photos on here always seem to show the larger group with the calves.

Oh, the females of both socials groups are often put together, exept Kaylee and Mya who don`t get along at all. The smaller social group are Kaylee, Lucha and Donna (6 year old daugther of Kaylee). When Kaylee, Donna and Lucha spend time with Aziza, Karishma and their sons, Donna can play with the other calves. However, since the females are all unrelated, it remains to be seen if that will work out much longer. Karishma is getting pretty dominant and I have seen her harassing Lucha and Aziza.

For walks, they sometimes/often (?) take all females together. It seems Mya and Kaylee don`t fight when under the direct supervision of the keepers like during walks (I think that`s really dangerous, though). On this pic, the first three eles are Kaylee, Donna and Lucha, followed by two bull calves and one female (probably Aziza) from the second social group.

Thanks for the above Yassa. It explains fully what I didn't know before. Its unfortunate that the longterm differences between just two individuals-Mya and Kaylee- means they have to shuffle them around so much, but it seems the calves do get the opportunity to mingle quite regularly.
