Common impala; blesbok : Whipsnade : 06 Aug 2016

Male impala (Aepyceros melampus) walks past blesbok (Damaliscus phillipsi).

This single blesbok was in the paddock usually occupied by the male kudu. No sign of any kudu. Not sure if this blesbok (unknown sex) was an individual from the existing bachelor group, or a new addition.

The male kudu passed away a while ago unfortunately. This blesbok is one of the batchelor group from the roan paddock.

the kudu were on show in the impala paddock on Wednesday.
Thanks, both, for the additional info. Sorry to learn about the male kudu -- I was always mightily impressed -- particularly when viewing from down in the valley next to the hippo pools -- whenever he appeared, against the skyline, atop his 'mountain':
