It is pretty cool, both watching them fly, and hop through the trees and rails. They are my favourite native birds. The only other places I have seen them are Auckland Zoo and Otorohanga Kiwi House.

one pair I didn't have my camera out, another pair not close enough for photos, and with the other sightings the birds weren't in any good positions for photography (up in the canopy, so fine for viewing but not for photos at all)
